Directions: St. Joe's is between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti in Superior Township. AATA bus routes 3 and 6 serve the main hospital entrance. From US-23 take exit 39, Geddes Rd. Go east on Geddes and turn right on Dixboro Rd. Dixboro becomes Huron River Dr., which takes you to McAuley Dr. From central or southern Ann Arbor, take Washtenaw, Packard, or Ellsworth eastbound and turn left onto Golfside or Hewitt; both lead to McAuley Dr. From northeast Ann Arbor, take Geddes Rd. east from Huron Pkwy. to Dixboro Rd.

Description: Newly rebuilt 537-bed acute care hospital offers complete medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient care, including cardiology, cancer care, obstetrics and other women’s and children’s health services (including a neonatal intensive care unit), physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurosciences, senior health, emergency services, home care, and hospice.

SJMHS is a member of Novi-based Trinity Health, a multistate hospital network sponsored by Catholic Health Ministries. As a Catholic organization, SJMHS prohibits its staff from dispensing or prescribing contraceptives and from performing vasectomies, female sterilizations, and elective abortions.

Major programs and facilities, all on the main campus unless noted, include the Cancer Care Specialty Center (712-4673); Center for Digestive Care (434-6262); Emergency & Trauma Center (712-3000); Home Care and Hospice (3075 Clark Road, Suite 200, 327-3200 or 327-3400); Huron Oaks, mental health services, including partial hospitalization, and adult residential unit (712-5850); Michigan Heart & Vascular Institute (712-8000; Michigan Orthopedic Center (712-3563; Pain Institute (712-7246); Rehabilitation Services (712-8674); Reichert Health Center outpatient care (712-5300); Senior Health Building (712-5189) houses Senior Health Services, Lifeline Emergency call service, and the Huron Woods residential care program for people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia; and the Ellen Thompson Women's Health Center (712-5800.
