The Ark: The RFD Boys
Authentic bluegrass by these longtime local favorites who have appeared in numerous festivals and on the cover of Bluegrass Unlimited, magazine. Their shows blend top-notch musicianship with funny between-songs dialogue. They have several recordings, including Live and Unrehearsed, a 1994 Ark performance. $11 at the door only.
The Blind Pig: Amino Acids
Detroit psychedelic punk-surf band. Opening acts are Counter Cosby, a local band that plays sarcastic, goofy, prog-rock metal, and Mazinga, a veteran Ypsilanti band that plays rough, raw, Detroit-style rock ‘n’ roll, along with the local punk- rock trio Fuckin’ A. A benefit for the newly formed Ann Arbor Derby Dimes roller derby team.
Crazy Wisdom Tea Room: Holly Bernt
Oakland University student whose songs reflect her upbringing in the spacious landscapes of Rapid City (SD).

Live at PJ's: Drivin' Terraplanes Sideways
One-off performance by this local houserockin; blues dance band featuring members of both the Terraplanes and Drivin' Sideways. 6- 9:30 p.m.
The Necto: “Pride: Gay Night”
DJ Jace spins high-energy dance tunes in the main room. In the downstairs Red Room, DJ Mark plays retro music videos and DJ John G spins Top 40 records. In the blue room, DJ Mike spins techno records.
