The Ark: Kenny White
New York City singer-songwriter and pianist who writes frank, funny, sophisticated songs in various genres, including classical, jazz, 60s rock, and country. “[White’s] songs mourn love’s passage into strangeness with the rue of Stephin Merritt and the tenderness of Joni Mitchell,” says the Village Voice in its review of his 2002 debut CD, Uninvited Guest. White recently released a new CD, Comfort in the Static. $15.
