The Ark: Nicole Reynolds and Women in Docs.
Double bill. Reynolds is a highly regarded young sweet-voiced singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh who writes emotionally direct songs edged with a playfully droll observational wit. Women in Docs is an Australian folk-rock duo of singer-songwriters whose mix of upbeat songs and vibrant vocal harmonies has provoked comparisons to the likes of the Indigo Girls and the Waifs. FREE.

The Blind Pig: "Showcase Night"
With 4 different young local bands.

DJs play a variety of dance music. No cover.

The Firefly Club: Tad Weed Freedom Ensemble
Progressive to mainstream jazz by an all-star ensemble led by this highly regarded pianist, a Jackson, Michigan, native. With saxophonist Andrew Bishop, Detroit bassist Tim Flood, and Los Gatos drummer Pete Siers.

Oz's Music Environment: "AASC Blues Highway 101"
