The Ark: Antje Duvekot
Fast-rising young German American singer-songwriter from Boston known for her hushed, conversational singing and darkly resonant, introspectively personal ballads. "I think she's going to be the next great American folk singer-songwriter," says Ellis Paul. "She's writing songs we need to hear right now. We need a fresh voice to shake things up for all of us." $15.

Conor O'Neill's: Traditional Irish Session
All invited to join or listen to an instrumental jam session. Followed at 10 p.m. by karaoke.

Elbow Room: Old Man Underground
DJ duo that plays an incendiary mix of garage, punk, hip-hop, indie, metal, glam and rock 'n' roll.

The Firefly Club: "Elevation."
Funk and hip-hop by DJ Graffiti and other DJs TBA. Also, an open mike session.

The Firefly Club: Phil Ogilvie's Rhythm Kings
(5-8 p.m.) This local 10-piece big band is one of the few to specialize in the old-time big-band music of the late 1920s and early 1930s associated with Jelly Roll Morton and King Oliver. Arrangements by the renowned early-jazz pianist James Dapogny and tubaist Chris Smith. The rest of the lineup includes 3 saxophonists/clarinetists, 2 trumpeters, a trombonist, a guitarist/banjo player, and a drummer.

The Necto: "Vision Sunday"
Guest DJs spin house and techno records.

Old Town: Royal Garden Trio.
Early jazz standards and Hot Club-style gypsy jazz by this local trio led by guitarist Brian Delaney. With cellist Michael Karoub and clarinetist and tenor guitarist Tom Bogardus.
