The Ark: 7th Annual Mountain Stage Newsong Contest Regional Finals.
5 finalists in the youth category (7 p.m.) and 10 finalists in the age 21 & older category (8 p.m.) compete for a spot in the finals of this international songwriting contest sponsored by the Folk Alliance. The finals are held on October 11 in Charleston, West Virginia, Cultural Center, the home venue of the Mountain Stage radio and TV shows. $12 ($15 after 8 p.m.).
